Another grand slam for Nintendo

Title: “Sims 2: Open For Business”
System: PC
Genre: Simulation and Expansion
Grade: A

For those who have ever thought about opening a business but never had the resources or the knowledge needed to do this can still live their dreams. However, their dreams will be achieved on a much smaller scale and with no monetary payoff.

Thanks to the people of Maxis, gamers are now able to open a business with their Sims in “Sims 2: Open For Business.”

Many players of the worldwide phenomenon game know their Sims have always been able to go to work, but what did they actually do? Now Simmers will have a chance to control their Sim at work and even run a business of their own.

Although the whole concept of running a business with this new expansion pack may sound very exciting, it is not an easy task to run a business. In the previous “Sims 2” expansion packs, Simmers were given the opportunity to import their Sims into different aspects of life, such as college in “Sims 2: University” and to downtown nightclubs in “Sims 2: Nightlife.” However, “Open For Business” brings not only new areas to let players explore, but it also adds a new “living condition.”

Now instead of just exploring the new area, Simmers will have to control the actions of many Sims to ensure their business runs smoothly and brings in a profit. It is much like running the typical household, but even more hectic.

When opening a business, gamers can choose from any variety of businesses to open. Whether it is a toy shop, a flower shop, a dance club or even a restaurant, it is completely up to the newly appointed CEO, the gamer.

This is an excellent game for any experienced Simmer, however it will prove to be more difficult to those who are new to the world of Sims.

“ Open For Business” will give Simmers something new to deal with, other than controlling the bladder of their Sim.
