Today
All hardcore gamers will want to visit MU Live for a Halo tournament.
It will be held from 9:30 p.m. to 1 a.m. Bring friends and family
and enjoy all the fun and excitement of “Halo,” with
a closer-to-home feel. Stick around for free pool, bowling and
food.
Tomorrow
Visit Barnes & Noble in Fargo for a book signing with Steve Molin,
author of “If There Were No Lutherans, Would There Still Be
Green Jell-O?” The event is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. More

Concordia College will hold its home choir concert from 7:30 to 9:30
p.m. at the Memorial Auditorium on the Concordia College campus.

Monday, March 6
Check out “Maintain Your Brain” at the Holiday Inn in
Fargo. This seminar covers scientific evidence that shows how to
improve the way the brain works, extend quality of life and potentially
lower risk factors for developing Alzheimer’s disease. The
seminar begins at 7 p.m. Admission is $10.
Tuesday, March 7
Did you know that Thanksgiving was held twice in 1815? Join the
College of Human Development and Education’s Food Production Management
class as it brings back “alternative” lunch. It will
be served in the lower level of the West Dining Center each Tuesday
and Thursday. This week they will serve a Thanksgiving feast that
consists of a fresh spinach salad with balsamic dressing, steaming
roast turkey, garlic mashed potatoes and delicious pumpkin pie dessert.
Seating takes place between 11:30 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. This meal is
also available March 9. The cost is $6.75 per person. Cash, check
or meal plans are accepted.
Wednesday, March 8
Campus Attractions will show “Jarhead” at 7 p.m. in the
Century Theater. This is the only show time this week.
Thursday, March 9
Visit the Fargo-Moorhead Community Theatre in Fargo for “Stuart
Little.” The play gives a fresh take on the classic story of
a resourceful mouse brought up by a normal, human, New York family.
