Women’s choir to deliver singing valentines

Cantemus, the NDSU women’s choir, is offering to deliver singing valentines on Feb. 14, in honor of Valentine’s Day. Not only will the recipient get a love song, but they will also get a flower and two complimentary tickets to a showing of the Little Country Theatre’s production of “Follies: The Concert.”

The cost for a singing valentine is $10, and all proceeds will go to the World War II veteran’s trip to Washington, D.C.

Reservations can be made today in the Memorial Union, directly across from Varsity Mart, or by calling 701-212-3692. Callers can make a payment with a credit card. The singing valentines can be delivered anywhere on the NDSU campus. 

The singing valentines are sponsored by Shotwell Floral, the NDSU Department of Music and the Little Country Theatre.

 

Theatre B holding auditions for ‘Sylvia’ title role

Fargo’s Theatre B is looking for women between the ages of 18 and 30 to perform in their production of A.R. Gurney’s comedy “Sylvia.”

Sylvia is a dog who is portrayed the way her owner sees her: as a beautiful young woman.

The auditions will be held Monday, Feb. 19 at 7 p.m. Actresses interested must prepare a two minute dialog. For more information call 701-729-8880.
