Student organization budget recommendations for 2007-2008


After analyzing all the student organization budget requests for the 2007-2008 academic year, the student government finance commission has recommended what each organization could potentially receive.

Each organization that submitted a budget presented the request at budget hearings that were held Feb. 2-3, 9-10.

Student organization representatives can appeal a budget recommendation at the finance forums March 5-9. The forums are an opportunity to representatives to present reasons why the respective organization deserves more funding, Executive Commissioner of Finance Adam Montgomery said.

The forums will be in the student government office on the main level of the Memorial Union.

The senate could pass the approved budget at the student government meeting March 25, Montgomery said.
