Welcome to NDSU
On behalf of the NDSU Student Government we would like to welcome you to NDSU. We in Student Government have a very busy year ahead of us as we continue to provide the services of the past with some brand new opportunities for everyone.
While you’re here on campus don’t forget to stop by the Student Government office in 128 Memorial Union to say hello and pick up your free discount card.
The Herd Hauler, NDSU’s discount taxi program, will start again in the fall when school reconvenes.
In addition to the services we offer now we are planning many new programs that will allow students to get involved with our campus.
Rumble, one of the most exciting additions to our repertoire, will take place at noon on Monday, August 20 at the Bison Sports Arena. This will feature remarks from Coach Craig Bohl of the football team and Coach Erich Hinterstocker of the volleyball team along with a performance from the Bison Dance team.
Since we have a little bit of a sweet tooth here, free Bison Crunch ice cream will be served by the members of several NDSU organizations.
As NDSU’s presence in the DI arena, both athletically and academically, continues to grow we will be working hard to continue to provide the services one expects to see from a high caliber university like NDSU.
This should be an exciting year of growth and new opportunity as we have many changes in mind for the upcoming year but please remember that first and foremost Student Government is here to serve the students.
