She Said: “It all depends on whether you are comfortable with it; if you have no problem with it, then it should not be a big deal,” Samantha Baierl, a freshman with an undecided major, said.

    "All We Need is Love"

With all of the media hype surrounding the upcoming Supreme Court ruling on gay marriage, the last thing that most people want to read is another article about homosexual couples. But, while most articles focus on one side of the argument (either for or against gay rights), the details of the court case or the historical aspects of homosexuality and its influence on today’s society, this article will focus on one thing and one thing only: love.

“Is it important to have the same life goals as your significant other?

‘What Is the Best Way to Breakup With Someone?’

He Said: “I’d say the best way to break up with someone depends on what the relationship was. Was it serious, not serious, long term, etc. If it was nothing special it should be fairly easy and straightforward. If it was a long-term relationship, I’d say getting together and explaining how things are and how they’ve changed is a good way of going about breaking up with someone,” Andy Goracke, a junior majoring in sports management, said.

    ‘Can Politics Ruin a Relationship?’

He Said: “Yes, often times politics can be closely tied to emotions or morals, and since morals are ingrained, they will rarely change. So dating someone with polar opposite political beliefs means you probably also have different morals, which could result in incompatibility,” Alex Volk, a freshman majoring in computer engineering, said.

“Couple Halloween Costumes: Cool or Spooky?”

He Said: “I think couples costumes are quite cool. If they take the time and effort to coordinate one “theme,” it looks much more impressive than two independent costumes,” Carson Reinhardt, a sophomore with an undecided major, said. She Said: “I think they can be both.

Is it OK to Lie to a Significant Other?

He Said: “I don’t think lying is a good thing, but I also believe that everyone does it and there is no way to escape it. So I guess it becomes a necessary evil. So yeah, I guess so,” Zach Thorseth, a junior majoring in broadcast journalism, said. She Said: “No, never okay.

What disgusting or annoying habits are deal-breakers in a relationship?

‘Is it Necessary to Define the Relationship on Facebook?’

Can Open Relationships Truly Work Out?

He Said: “No, they cannot. Somebody is going to get hurt, because of the lack of trust within the relationship. It doesn’t work for a number of reasons: they wouldn’t be responsible enough to have kids, the emotional stress placed on them would far outweigh the benefits and human nature tells us that we should be loved by one person only and that will resurface eventually,” Nick Conner, a freshman majoring in university studies, said.

  • HE SAID SHE SAID

How much PDA is too much?

He Said: “I would say that holding hands and a good hug are super-duper and maybe a goodnight kiss -- but if you’re just mackin’ in the street, that’s not OK. ‘What would Jesus do?’” Ben Krall, a sophomore majoring in mechanical engineering, said. She Said: “I think making out and groping in public is a little too much.

What are the warning signs that a relationship is not going to work out?

He Said: “You can tell that a relationship is not going to work out if: you find yourself not liking a lot of her clothing choices, styles, hobbies, etc. She has different priorities than you; your personalities don’t match (you are laid back and she worries nonstop); or she does not appreciate the things you do for her,” Brady Hendricks, a fifth year senior majoring in management and business administration, said.

  • He said, She said

Do you think it’s OK to be friends with benefits?

He Said: “As long as you both are clear on what the relationship is, then it’s fine. It’s not very cool to lead somebody on.” Josh Feer, a freshman majoring in university studies. She Said: “I don’t think it’s OK. Even if both people say that it’s OK.
