Social Program of the Year: Dance Marathon
Dance Marathon was an all-night dance party that benefited the Children’s Miracle Network. Over the course of two years Dance Marathon has raised over $15,000 for area children.
Cultural Program of the Year: Kujenga
Kujenga is a diversity and leadership retreat that encourages students to learn about different cultures and strives to build confidence and character through team building.
Community Program of Year: Teeter-a-Thon
Delta Upsilon’s Teeter-a-Thon is the longest running Greek philanthropic event at NDSU, which raises money for the Big Brother Big Sister program as well as court appointed special advocates.
Overall Program of the Year: Little International
In its 83rd year of keeping the agriculture tradition of NDSU and North Dakota alive and well, Little International had more than 200 students participate in the livestock show this year.
Organization of the Year: Blue Key Honor Society
Blue Key Honor Society organizes the Homecoming Show & Bison Brevities. They also award the Doctor of Service Award, Distinguished Educator Award, and the Leitourgia scholarship. Blue Key also serves many different causes across the community.
Student Organization Advisor of the Year: Nancy Rossland
Rossland is an adviser to the Engineering and Architecture Ambassadors. She has helped with outreach activities and acts as a role model to the members.
Student Leader of the Year: Ron Storhaug
Ron Storhaug has developed into a public servant by lobbying for the students of NDSU in the legislature regarding higher education and has shown responsibility in his numerous leadership roles.
